Light a candle for Brighid at SunStave Circle's Imbolc. Your hostesses are Shannon and Maddy!

Come welcome the bride both maiden and mother—Brighid,

Rest and prepare for the time of the seed,

Cleansed and refreshed from labors behind her,

With the promise of spring she lays before me...

“Oh sacred fire against darkest night,

Burn for Brigid, burn bright!

Fire in the head...to quicken us.

Fire in the cauldron...to heal us.

Fire in the forge of the belly and heart…to temper us.”

Please join us as we welcome in the Goddess Brighid/Bridget and seek the turning of the wheel away from winter and into spring.

Please bring a Pot Luck Dish For Imbolc, celebrate with foods that honor the hearth and home -- breads, grains, and vegetables stored from fall such as onions and potatoes -- as well as dairy items.
